Electricity & Magnetism

Second term course.

Tips and Tricks

  • The notes for this module are excellent, however Dr Renzoni does walk through a number of proofs in the lectures that are critical to building understanding on how to apply calculus to problems involving electrostatics.
  • Section A in the exam is basically 40% book work, there are lots of equations, especially around maxwell, faraday and ampheres laws. These all need to be learnt and spilled out in section A.
  • Section B in the exam is where all the thinking is applied.
